How to make it
- Enter your PayPal.Me name (the part after paypal.me/) in the PayPal.Me name field.
- Optionally enter an Amount such as 25.00 and a Currency such as USD or EUR.
- Confirm the preview reads paypal.me/yourname or paypal.me/yourname/25.00USD.
- Download, then scan it yourself and stop at PayPal's confirmation screen to check the name and amount.
What gets encoded
The payload is https://paypal.me/<name>, or https://paypal.me/<name>/<amount><CURRENCY> when you set an amount, for example paypal.me/sunnybakes/12.50EUR. This is PayPal's own link format. If the payer has the PayPal app, the link generally opens there; otherwise PayPal's website opens and asks them to log in or pay as a guest where available. The name only accepts letters and numbers, and amounts use at most two decimals. Currency support depends on your PayPal account, so test a non-default currency before printing.
