What gets encoded
The code encodes the PDF's URL, e.g. https://example.com/files/brochure-2026.pdf, or a qrpebble.com/r/<id> short link if you choose a dynamic code. What happens after the scan depends on the phone: iPhones show PDFs in Safari's built-in viewer, while many Android phones open them in Chrome or offer a download. Cloud-storage share links that open a preview page (instead of the raw file) work too, as long as sharing is set to 'anyone with the link'.
