What gets encoded
The encoded link is https://www.snapchat.com/add/<username>, Snapchat's public add-friend URL. Phones with Snapchat installed generally open the profile in the app; others see a web profile page with a prompt to get the app. Unlike a Snapcode, this is a normal QR code, so the phone's built-in camera, Google Lens and third-party scanners can all read it. Tips before you print
